Seraphilia
(N.Thomas/C.Stipetic)
Naive
and still half blind I find
I stumble in the dark
Serpents twisting around my legs
And the crows plucking at my heart
The seeds within now washed in sin
From this carnival of hate
With lotus petals on the floor
I symbolize my fate
With eyes that beg forgiveness
I pray that she will stay
But the Seraph turns her
head and looks away
I know that I'm not worthy,
yet I pray that she will stay
And the Seraph gently
sighs and walks away
Neon glitz and midnight clear
Superficial stranglehold
Underneath this sheer veneer
Pathed in fools gold
